Maruti Alto 800 launched at a starting price of Rs 2.44 lakh,

Maruti Suzuki, India's largest car maker has launched its much awaited Alto 800 at Rs 2.44 lakh to 3.56 lakh ex showroom New Delhi for petrol and CNG variant. Launching the car on Tuesday, Maruti Suzuki said, the company has already received bookings of over 10,000 units of Alto 800.
The company says, petrol variant delivers fuel efficiency of 22.74 kilometers per litre and the factory fitted CNG variant branded Alto Green, delivers a fuel efficiency of 30.46 kilometers per kilogram, 13% better than the outgoing Alto Green.
The Alto 800 will be competing against variants of Tata Motors Nano, Hyundai Santro & Eon and Chevrelot Spark, from General MOtors which is also getting ready with its facelift, which will be launched soon
The all new Alto 800 will be a driver’s delight. A refined engine that delivers a torque of 69Nm @ 3500 rpm, improved by 11 per cent, will prove valuable for city driving that requires better pick-up and frequent gear changes.
The new cable shift transmission with detent-pin technology and a Diagonal Shift Assist lead to precise gear shifting to make driving much smoother and more convenient.
The suspension of the Alto 800 has been better tuned for optimum performance on Indian roads.

  1. Yeah,it will give people a way of life.Every middle class man dreams for a car but its budget doesn't allows it.This car is in their reach and its a complete car with Alto and 800's DNA in it.
